"Sitting behind the keys of a full piano for the first time in ten years, I realized two unexpected things...

The first was that all the bells and whistles of production aren't necessary - at least not all the time... Sometimes just playing is far more fun than producing.

I had been missing that.

The second was that p.19 had some really great songs. As I started working out the material on the piano, it was soon clear that this was a project worth recording and the idea of "Quarter Page" was born.

I'm also personally not ruling out a future p.19 CD, but who knows what the future holds. ;)
